Bexorg is seeking a Principal Robotics Engineer to lead the design and deployment of advanced robotic systems that automate our human brain perfusion rigs and high-throughput brain slice incubation platforms. In this on-site role in New Haven, CT, you’ll architect and build systems that combine industrial robots (e.g., KUKA AGILUS), complex fluid handling, and artificial circulatory/dialysis hardware, all coordinated via ROS-2. You will be the senior robotics authority at a well-funded TechBio company using donated human brains to discover new therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, working closely with surgeons, perfusion technicians, software engineers, and drug discovery scientists. We’re looking for an aggressive self-starter with a proven track record leading robotics projects, strong mechatronics and controls skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
